Market Rules
At Richwood Farmers Market, we prioritize creating a fair and welcoming environment for all vendors. Our rules ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to showcase their goods and that customers can trust the quality of the products they purchase. If you have any questions or concerns about the rules, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our market manager.
Food Guidelines
Ohio has specific regulations regarding the sale of certain items, especially food and agricultural products. It’s important for vendors at the Richwood Farmers Market to understand and comply with these rules to ensure the safety and legality of their products. Below are links to the relevant regulations for your reference and compliance.
New Guidelines for Selling Eggs at the Market
We’re proud to support local producers and want to ensure everyone follows state food safety guidelines.
To sell eggs at the market, vendors are required to request and complete an inspection from the Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA).
-
The ODA inspection is free
-
Once approved, you’ll receive documentation showing you meet Ohio’s requirements for safe egg handling and sales
It’s the vendor’s responsibility to initiate this process before selling at the market.
